Swage-locked grating, also known as aluminum grating, is a high-performance grating solution made from a variety of materials, including aluminum alloy steel and stainless steel. The grating is produced by locking cross bars into pre-punched holes in bearing bars through hydraulic swaging, resulting in a permanent, secure structure. Available in I-bar or rectangular bar types, the I-bar swage-locked grating is the most commonly used and offers a lightweight yet robust alternative to rectangular bar grating.
